Lab 4: Youth Employment and Contracts

Description

Children and young persons are restricted in the type of work they can do. It is governed by Part VIII of the Employment Act and the Employment of Children and Young Persons Regulations. They are also limited in the type of work they can do in industrial settings (e.g. construction, transportation and manufacturing) and non-industrial settings.

Hence, when you come to understand or have the knowledge that the youths you have been work with have been approached for employment, or they want to work and earn extra bucks, and they are asked to sign a contract, what can you do? What are the implications?
